Job summary

Vinson & Elkins is seeking an HR Systems Data Analyst to design and maintain integrations across HR systems, including benefits, payroll, and talent management. You will optimize data flows, automate processes, and support reporting needs for HR and Talent Operations.

The role requires strong SQL, data modeling, and API/middleware experience to ensure data integrity and security. The position collaborates with HR, Benefits, and IT teams to deliver automated solutions and scalable data

Qualifications

Proficient in relational databases and SQL for complex queries and reporting.
Experience with HRIS and talent management platforms; understanding of benefits and payroll processes.
Ability to design and maintain data integrations using APIs or middleware.
Experience with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) for data visualization and reporting.

Responsibilities

Configure and maintain HR, benefits, and talent management databases for accuracy and performance.
Ensure seamless data flow between HRIS, payroll, and performance systems; troubleshoot data issues.
Develop feeds/exports to external vendors and automate routine data processes.
Create tests, validate data integrity, and document data flows and integrations.
Collaborate with HR, Benefits, and IT to meet business data needs and provide user support.
