Job summary

D.A. Davidson Companies seeks an HR Systems & Operations Analyst to administer core HR systems, ensure data integrity, and deliver reliable reporting. The role collaborates with IT, FP&A, Payroll, and vendors to streamline processes and improve user experience.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on Workday experience, strong Excel/data skills, and a proactive, collaborative approach with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in application administration, business systems, data operations, or a comparable analyst role.
• Experience administering multiple information systems, reporting tools, and user interfaces; Workday or another HRIS is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and conditional formatting.
• Technical proficiency with data flows, data mapping, and source tables.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience creating dashboards or data visualizations is a plus.
• Ability to document business requirements and processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert to drive, administer, and support HR technology platforms (HRIS: Workday, performance management, LMS, applicant tracking, etc.).
• Configure, develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to address needs.
• Analyze data outputs, resolve discrepancies, ensure compliance when handling sensitive data.
• Prepare, test, and execute data loads to/from HR systems and third parties.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to maintain integrations and implement configurations.
• Test system releases, upgrades, and new functionality; participate in user acceptance testing.
• Evaluate HR processes and implement opportunities for automation and efficiency.
• Establish governance practices, including reviews and project intake procedures.
• Maintain system documentation and training materials.
• Engage in ongoing training to stay current on systems.
