Job summary

Oatey is seeking a Human Resources Summer Intern to participate in various HR projects across organizational communication, talent management, recruiting, HR technology and Total Rewards. The 12-week internship includes mentorship, development opportunities and exposure to leadership.

You will support recruiters, analyze HRIS data, assist with Workday-related tasks, and help improve onboarding while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
• Overall 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a cross functional team.
• Prior HR internship experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Join various meetings with internal HR team members and external partners to learn more about the HR function.
• Shadow functional and field HR team members to understand responsibilities and contributions to the company’s plans.
• Assist recruiters in sourcing and screening candidate resumes.
• Use data from our HRIS system to identify trends and opportunity areas to enhance onboarding.
• Assist with Workday audits and auditing of employee records.
• Maintain confidentiality in all work performed.
• Other projects as assigned.
