Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is offering a Human Resources Intern role as part of a 10-week summer internship program. You will work with the HR team across business areas including talent management, talent acquisition, total rewards, learning & development, and belonging, gaining hands-on experience and ownership of projects.

The internship emphasizes real-world impact through touchpoint improvements, succession planning materials, employee relations support, and engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Junior standing with a 3.0 GPA minimum preferred.
• HR, Business, Social Sciences or related major is suitable.
• Excellent organizational, planning, communication and follow-up skills are required.
• Excellent presentation skills for groups of varying sizes.
• Must have strategic, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Bias toward action and results orientation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Unrestricted permanent US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Assist HR Business Partners with employee relations and performance management.
• Contribute to talent acquisition activities including job postings and resume screening.
• Help assess and improve touchpoints across the employee lifecycle.
• Analyze employee feedback and present actionable insights to HR leadership.
• Support the creation of talent profiles and succession planning materials.
• Review HR communications and intranet content for clarity and impact.
• Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Support development and execution of employee engagement initiatives.
• Conduct research on HR best practices, trends, and benchmarking data.
