Job summary

Sochi Home Health Agency, LLC is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to oversee and support core Human Resources functions across the employee lifecycle. This onsite role in Dayton, OH includes recruiting, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, policy administration, and ongoing compliance with applicable employment legislation.

The position focuses on managing the employee lifecycle, maintaining HR policies, coordinating training, and ensuring payroll and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience as an HR Specialist or HR Generalist.
• Hands-on experience with HRIS, including BambooHR and PeopleSoft.
• Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems.
• Strong understanding of labor legislation and the payroll process.
• Experience with full cycle recruiting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Team management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field (minimum requirement).

Responsibilities

• Manage the employee lifecycle, including attraction, recruitment, on-boarding, development, retention, and separation.
• Develop, administer, and maintain HR policies and procedures for all company personnel.
• Plan and support training and development activities and implement development plans.
• Coordinate quarterly and annual performance review sessions as needed.
• Stay current on industry trends and employment legislation, ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and accrediting bodies.
• Maintain and update employee records with new hire information and changes in employment status.
• Forecast hiring needs and ensure the recruitment process runs smoothly.
• Recommend and implement improved HR approaches, policies, and procedures to enhance office efficiency and service delivery.
• Support performance management, document employee issues, and deliver disciplinary actions and improvement plans as needed.
• Process employee questions and provide timely responses.
• Travel off-site as needed for hiring events and meetings.
