Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana is seeking an HR Specialist to provide general support to the Human Resources Department. You will assist with applicant tracking, employee events, and term/hire paperwork, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with state gaming regulations.

In this role you will coordinate HR functions across ER/LR, payroll, benefits, and gaming, after-hours support, and contribute to weekly audits and benefit administration while delivering excellent internal guest

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher and 1+ years of HR or related work experience.
• Must successfully pass background check and drug screening.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and professional communication required.
• Able to work holidays and weekends and flexible shifts.
• Knowledge of office procedures and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist HR with assigned projects and events; provide guidance to applicants and team members.
• Assist HR with applicant tracking activities: screening, sourcing, paperwork, and HR database updates.
• Support after-hours HR activities for all departments (ER/LR, Payroll, Benefits, Gaming).
• Complete weekly term audits and renewal processes; manage exit and stay interviews.
• Coordinate Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) activities and unemployment claims as needed.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all data and information; provide courteous internal service to team members.
