Job summary

TVT Community Day School in Irvine, CA is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to support day-to-day HR programs, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, employee changes, and offboarding.

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this role requires strong organization, discretion, attention to detail, and a service-oriented approach; Paycom experience is preferred and compliance with school policies is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
• 3+ years HR experience preferred.
• California HR experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems; Paycom preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a day-to-day HR resource for policies, benefits, payroll, Paycom, and employment questions.
• Support onboarding, employee changes, leaves, and offboarding.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR data.
• Support payroll and timekeeping processes, including changes and compensation updates.
• Assist with benefits enrollment and payroll questions.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding and Paycom setup.
• Support recruitment and hiring, including job postings and offers.
• Ensure compliance with employment requirements and HR programs.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and use Paycom effectively.
