Job summary

TVT Community Day School is seeking an Human Resources Specialist to manage day-to-day HR operations, including payroll, benefits, onboarding, and employee changes. You will serve as a responsive resource for staff while ensuring data accuracy and compliance, with Paycom experience preferred.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and 3+ years of HR experience, with California HR experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Three or more years of Human Resources experience preferred.
• Experience supporting onboarding, payroll, benefits, and employee administration.
• California HR experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate HR programs and services for employees across the employment lifecycle.
• Support payroll, benefits, and HR systems (Paycom) and employee data accuracy.
• Assist recruitment, postings, offers, onboarding, and new hire orientation.
• Ensure compliance with California HR requirements and school policies.
• Support culture, wellness initiatives, and employee recognition programs.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee resources.
