Seaboard Energy is seeking an HR Specialist to support a wide range of human resources activities, focusing on recruitment, onboarding, employee support, benefits administration, timekeeping, payroll coordination, and records management.

The role partners with site and company-wide HR initiatives, aiming to improve processes and employee programs for a growing, high-performing workforce.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in HR, business or related field preferred.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred, or willingness to pursue on hire.
• At least 1 year HR support, recruiting, timekeeping, or payroll experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of labor laws (EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, ADA).
• Experience with HRIS, applicant tracking, and timekeeping systems (ADP or UKG Pro).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support hourly recruitment and onboarding, including candidate coordination and orientation.
• Serve as resource for employees and supervisors on routine HR, benefits, timekeeping, payroll, and policies.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Review timekeeping and coordinate with payroll to address discrepancies.
• Assist with benefits enrollment activities and Open Enrollment.
• Process personnel actions and HR system updates.
• Assist with offboarding, training coordination, reporting, and audits.
• Contribute to HR initiatives and Seaboard Energy HR function.
