Job summary

Highspring LLC (d/b/a Vaco by Highspring) is seeking an HR Specialist to support a dynamic People team in West Los Angeles. This role covers employee relations, leave administration, onboarding and offboarding, and compliance, with a hands-on approach to HR operations.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in HR, experience with UKG or similar HRIS, strong organizational and communication skills, and a service-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in Human Resources or People Operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary HR resource for employee inquiries and HR systems support.

Our growing property management company is seeking a well-rounded HR Specialist to support a dynamic People team. This role is ideal for an HR professional with hands-on experience across multiple HR functions, including employee relations, leave administration, compliance, benefits, onboarding, and offboarding. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, service-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary HR resource for employee inquiries, policies, and HR systems support
• Manage HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, leaves of absence, and compliance tracking
• Maintain employee data integrity within HRIS systems and support audits, reporting, and process improvements
• Partner cross-functionally with Payroll, IT, Facilities, and Benefits teams to ensure a seamless employee experience

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, or a related field
• Experience supporting multiple HR functions, including compliance, leave administration, benefits, and employee lifecycle activities
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with UKG or a similar HRIS platform is highly preferred
• Bachelor's degree and HR certification are welcome but not required
