Agency for Persons with Disabilities seeks a Human Resources Specialist/Labor Relations – SES to support HR programs at Tacachale. You will interpret rules, advise on disciplinary actions, and coordinate unemployment and performance evaluation processes.

You will manage HR records, assist with investigations, and provide back-up across HR functions while delivering strong customer service at the front desk.

Qualificações

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have at least one (1) year of Human Resource experience.
• Must be willing to perform essential services before, during, and after an emergency.

Responsabilidades

• Interprets the State Personnel System Rules and assures that rules, regulations, policies and procedures are administered consistently and in an impartial manner.
• Helps employees, supervisors, and department heads to settle work-related conflicts through advice, consultations, and recommendation.
• Advises managers on disciplinary actions and performance related issues.
• Reviews and coordinates through completion all non-disciplinary and disciplinary actions to ensure compliance with established policies.
• Gathers and reviews documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness of facts upon which the final determination is based.
• Schedules and attends Predetermination Conference meetings.
• Manages unemployment compensation for Tacachale and serves as liaison between Tacachale and Department of Economic Opportunity.
• Serves as the HR representative in unemployment compensation appeals to uphold the Agency actions.
• Manages the performance evaluation program. Ensures all performance evaluations are received and posted timely in the People First system.
• Organizes and maintains Employee Relations files and prepares necessary correspondence.
• Assists the State Office with internal investigations or related complaint matters.
• Provides back-up to other HR functions as directed or needed.
• Greet and receive customers, answer calls, and direct them to the correct area, assist with records request, organize and classify a high volume of documents at front desk.
• Maintain files in the Agency’s electronic personnel file system.
