Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Bilingual HR Specialist to support the Tampa office. The role combines onboarding, payroll, and employee relations with the opportunity to help build out a dedicated HR function as the company restructures its Ops/HR leadership.

This is a 3-month contract-to-hire engagement, on-site four days a week in Tampa, FL 33607, with ADP payroll experience preferred. You will partner with local leaders and the Switzerland-based parent company on HR matters related to

Job description

Our client is looking for a Bilingual (English/Spanish) HR Specialist to support their Tampa office. This position combines core HR responsibilities — onboarding, payroll, and employee relations — with the opportunity to help build a dedicated HR function from the ground up as the company restructures its Operations/HR leadership.

Compensation

$30-$35/hourly

Duration

3 Month Contract to Hire (full-time role)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage onboarding for new hires, including documentation and orientation
• Process payroll using ADP
• Serve as an approachable, day-to-day HR resource for employees and leadership in the Tampa office
• Support employee relations and other core HR functions
• Develop and implement new HR policies and processes as the function is built out (creativity and initiative valued)
• Partner with local leadership (Tampa) and the Switzerland-based parent company on HR matters tied to international expansion
• Coordinate general office management and administrative responsibilities
• Remain flexible and assist with responsibilities outside a traditional HR scope as needed

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HR experience, including onboarding and payroll (ADP experience preferred)
• Prior experience at a small company a plus — comfortable in a lean, hands‑on office environment without a large HR team behind them
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills; presents well to leadership
