Job summary

Burnett Staffing Specialists in Cypress, TX is seeking an HR Coordinator/Specialist to manage onboarding, orientation, I-9/E-Verify, and employee relations. You’ll use ADP Workforce Now for records and collaborate with managers to ensure a positive employee experience.

The role requires 3+ years in HR, an associate degree in a related field, and bilingual English/Spanish. In-office hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a competitive salary and a 100% bonus potential.

Job description

We are hiring an HR Coordinator / HR Specialist to join a growing company in the Cypress area! This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who is detail-oriented, hands-on, and enjoys being involved in the full employee lifecycle.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage new hire onboarding and employee orientation
• Process and maintain I-9s and E-Verify
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now for onboarding and employee records
• Assist with employee relations and day-to-day HR questions
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and documentation
• Support HR policies, procedures, and compliance
• Partner with managers and employees to ensure a positive employee experience
• Assist with other HR projects and administrative responsibilities as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of hands-on HR experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Specialist, or similar role
• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required
• Strong experience with ADP Workforce Now
• Hands-on experience with onboarding, orientation, I-9 and E-Verify
• Experience handling employee relations
• Bilingual English/Spanish required
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
• Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing organization

Position Details:

• Location: Cypress, TX
• Salary: $65,000 to $75,000 + Bonus 100%
• In Office Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
