Job summary

Burnett Specialists Staffing | Recruiting in Cypress, TX is seeking an HR Coordinator / HR Specialist to manage full employee lifecycle duties. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in HR and strong ADP Workforce Now experience, including onboarding, orientation, I-9 and E-Verify.

This is an in-office role with hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Salary ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 plus bonus, with emphasis on confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on HR experience in an HR Coordinator/Specialist role.
• Associate degree in HR, Business, or related field required.
• Strong experience with ADP Workforce Now.
• Hands-on onboarding, orientation, I-9 and E-Verify experience.
• Experience handling employee relations.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage new hire onboarding and employee orientation.
• Process and maintain I-9s and E-Verify.
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now for onboarding and employee records.
• Assist with employee relations and day-to-day HR questions.
• Maintain confidential employee files and documentation.
• Support HR policies, procedures, and compliance.
• Partner with managers to ensure a positive employee experience.
• Assist with other HR projects and administrative responsibilities as needed.

We are hiring an HR Coordinator / HR Specialist to join a growing company in the Cypress area! This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who is detail-oriented, hands-on, and enjoys being involved in the full employee lifecycle.
We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of HR experience and strong experience with ADP Workforce Now, particularly with new hire onboarding, orientation, I-9 and E-Verify, along with a solid understanding of employee relations.

What You?ll Do:

• Manage new hire onboarding and employee orientation
• Process and maintain I-9s and E-Verify
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now for onboarding and employee records
• Assist with employee relations and day-to-day HR questions
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and documentation
• Support HR policies, procedures, and compliance

What We?re Looking For:
