Responsibilities

Provide management and sustainment advisory services for ANG FTS Title 32 AGR programs; advise managers and supervisors on recruitment and placement actions for AGR personnel.
Ensure required selection documentation is correct, including military compatibility; verify medical and fitness requirements; check security requirements; initiate select/non-select letters.
Responsible for timely and accurate administration of voluntary and involuntary separation actions and Army AGR retirement actions.
Consult with other HR Specialists to facilitate Full-Time manning reporting.
Perform other duties as assigned.

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a HR SPEC (MILITARY), Position Description Number D2953000 and is part of the CO JFHQ HRO Air, National Guard. This position is located in the JFHQ-State Human Resources Office (HRO). This technician announcement is running concurrently with a DSG announcement, 26-146.

Key Responsibilities

The purpose of this position is to provide management and sustainment advisory services for the Air National Guard (ANG) Full-Time Support (FTS) Title 32 Active Guard and Reserve (AGR) Program(s). Provides advice and support to managers, supervisors, and the HRO on recruitment and placement actions for AGR Personnel.

Ensures required selection documentation and information contained thereon is correct including military compatibility; ensures all medical and fitness requirements are met in accordance with existing policies and guidelines for AGR members; checks security requirements; initiates select/non select letters, etc. Responsible for the timely and accurate administration of voluntary and involuntary separation actions and Army AGR retirement actions.

Consults with other Human Resources Specialist to facilitate Full-Time manning reporting. Performs other duties as assigned.
