Job summary

Jobtailor, based in Elkton, MD, is seeking an Associate to support HR Shared Services. You will be the primary contact for associates, guiding standard HR processes and delivering timely, professional service. You will manage high-volume HR transactions and maintain accurate, confidential associate data.

The role collaborates with HR Partners, Payroll, Benefits, and Centers of Excellence, contributing to audits, reports, and data quality initiatives while driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of administrative, HR shared services, or operations experience.
• Experience with HR processes, systems, and associate data management.
• Experience with data entry, transaction processing, records administration, or customer support preferred.
• Experience using HRIS, case management, or other business systems preferred.
• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, APHR) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and data integrity.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to follow procedures and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for associates by responding to routine HR inquiries.
• Provide guidance on standard HR processes and deliver timely, professional service.
• Resolve inquiries using knowledge resources and established procedures.
• Execute high-volume HR transactions and associate data updates (transfers, leave changes, separations).
• Maintain accurate associate records with data quality, confidentiality, and retention compliance.
• Identify and resolve routine data discrepancies.
• Generate standard reports, support audits, and perform routine data validation.
• Assist in monitoring operational metrics related to HR operations.
• Collaborate with HRBP, Payroll, Benefits, and Centers of Excellence.
• Provide feedback on process challenges and support improvements.
