Job summary

Instructure, Inc. is seeking a seasoned HR Shared Services manager to lead a team of HR specialists, owning escalations, case management, and continuous improvement across immigration, global compliance, background checks and reporting.

You’ll partner with Payroll, IT and other HR COEs, leverage Jira/Confluence, and drive self-service and automation. This role offers a flexible work culture and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of HR experience in a shared services or HR operations environment.
• One to two years of leading a team.
• Familiarity with case management tools and dashboards; Jira/Confluence is a plus.
• Strong judgment with sensitive or ambiguous cases and escalation awareness.
• Experience with Workday or similar HRIS.
• Exposure to global or multi-region HR support.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coach a team of HR specialists, including performance and workload.
• Own escalations and complex employee cases end to end.
• Own AskHR reporting and dashboards, turning data into actionable insights.
• Monitor knowledge base quality and promote self-service.
• Drive process improvements, especially where automation can handle routine volume.
• Own processes such as immigration, global compliance, background checks and reporting.
