Job summary

United-Come is expanding its HR team in Collierville, Tennessee, seeking a dedicated HR professional to lead recruitment, onboarding, payroll support, and compliance activities. The role requires collaboration with hiring managers and across departments to ensure top talent is sourced, screened, and onboarded efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute recruitment strategies; write/update compliant job descriptions and postings
• Source candidates through professional networks, schools, agencies, and job fairs
• Screen, evaluate, and interview candidates with hiring managers
• Manage pre-employment checks (references, background, driving records, drug screens)
• Coordinate onboarding, new hire paperwork, and orientations
• Keep candidates, hiring managers, and HR Manager informed throughout the process
• Ensure hiring and employment processes comply with company, state, and federal regulations
• Maintain affirmative action and EEO reporting
• Prepare and maintain HR reports and records
• Assist with bi-weekly payroll and benefits administration
• Support workers' compensation program and recordkeeping
• Assist HR Manager with employee relations issues, investigations, and special projects
• Support Sr. HR Generalist on payroll, benefits, and compliance tasks
• Serve as HR point-of-contact for all employees
• Coordinate company-wide activities (meetings, training, holiday events)
• Provide strong internal/external customer service
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
