Job summary

Delaware Family Court is seeking a Paraprofessional Human Resources Support specialist to handle recruitment, onboarding, and HR records. The role involves posting requisitions in Jobapps, reviewing applications, coordinating outreach, and serving on interview panels both in person and virtually.

The position requires attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least one of: an Associates degree or higher; a Statewide HR Certification or professional HR certification; or one year of paraprofessional/administrative HR experience.
• Knowledge of state and federal HR laws, rules, and procedures; ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to enter, update, modify, delete, retrieve, and report data in HR systems; prepare reports and maintain files.

Responsibilities

• Responds to inquiries and explains HR services per laws and policies.
• Collects data from employees and managers; participates in data analysis and recommendations.
• Provides guidance to employees and managers applying for HR services.
• Processes HR transactions in automated systems and resolves issues.
• Creates and maintains personnel records and files.
• Reviews HR forms and prepares correspondence, spreadsheets, and presentations.
• Compiles data and prepares reports and summaries.
• Supports internal procedure development and onboarding/offboarding activities.
• Supports meetings and interviews as needed; maintains confidentiality.
