Job summary

Witte Bros. Exchange Inc. in Troy, MO is seeking an HR Coordinator/Recruiter to support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department and lead recruiting for CDL School students and staff positions.

You will work closely with the HR Manager to assist with recruiting, onboarding, employee records, benefits administration, HRIS maintenance, compliance activities, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, eager to learn multiple areas of HR, and

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in recruiting, HR, customer service, or administrative support preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR-related systems.
• Full-time, Monday through Friday, on-site.
• Occasional flexibility may be required for recruiting events and company activities.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting for CDL School students and assigned staff positions.
• Coordinate candidate sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
• Maintain job postings, applicant tracking records, and recruiting metrics.
• Attend recruiting events, job fairs, and community outreach opportunities.
• Maintain employee records, HRIS data, and employment documentation.
• Coordinate I-9 compliance, new-hire paperwork, and employee changes.
• Assist employees with HR and benefits-related questions.
• Support benefits enrollment and Open Enrollment activities.
• Assist with HR compliance, audits, policy administration, and employee relations documentation.
• Support leave administration, workers' compensation, and unemployment processes.
• Provide backup support for core HR functions and special projects.
