Job summary

Vaco is seeking an HR Recruiter (Bilingual Spanish) for on-site staffing roles in Long Island City, NY. You will interview, hire, and onboard staffing replacements to meet workforce needs.

You will coordinate interviews, ensure compliance, and support new hire orientation and payroll-related processes with attention to company guidelines and client requirements. Bilingual Spanish ability is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Interview, Hire, and Onboard staffing replacements.
• Schedule and forecast interview appointments depending on staffing needs.
• Execute the hiring and application process according to company practices and legal compliance.
• Handle/Coordinate New Hire Orientation and Onboarding by reviewing company guidelines, work expectations, rules, and practices.
• Processes background checks in compliance of company practices and client specific requirements.
• Enrolls employees in the time and attendance system and processes activity changes as necessary.
• Monitors union card submissions and union dues.
• Interacts with payroll team in an effective and positive manner to process and resolve payroll related issues according to regulations and legal compliance.
• Elevates labor or client concerns to the HR Supervisor / HR Management team as necessary.
• Assist in operating the main operations department reception line in a professional and courteous manner when necessary.

Location: Long Island City, NY - 5 days a week onsite
