Job summary

Well-Known Facilities Services Group in Long Island City, NY, is seeking an HR Recruiter to interview, hire and onboard staffing replacements on-site. The role involves scheduling interviews, ensuring regulatory and client compliance, and coordinating onboarding processes.

The candidate will handle background checks and enrollment in time/attendance systems while interacting with payroll for related issues.

Responsibilities

• Interview, Hire, and Onboard staffing replacements.
• Schedule and forecast interview appointments depending on staffing needs.
• Execute the hiring and application process according to company practices and legal compliance.
• Handle/Coordinate New Hire Orientation and Onboarding by reviewing company guidelines, work expectations, rules, and practices.
• Processes background checks in compliance of company practices and client specific requirements.
• Enrolls employees in the time and attendance system and processes activity changes as necessary.
• Monitors union card submissions and union dues.
• Interacts with payroll team in an effective and positive manner to process and resolve payroll related issues according to regulations and legal compliance.
• Elevates labor or client concerns to the HR Supervisor / HR Management team as necessary.
• Assist in operating the main operations department reception line in a professional and courteous manner when necessary.

5 days/week on site
