Turn plans into progress. Deliver people-focused change that lasts.
Are you an experienced HR project professional who can bring clarity to complex challenges, build momentum and turn priorities into measurable results?
At mhs homes, we’re committed to ending the housing crisis in North Kent. Our people are central to that mission, and we’re looking for an HR Project Manager to deliver high-priority projects that strengthen our people practices and improve how we work.
The opportunity
Reporting to our Executive Director of People and Culture, you’ll take ownership of a varied portfolio of projects across areas such as onboarding, embedding the Competency and Conduct Standard, policy engagement and implementation, wellbeing, and cultural change.
This is a hands-on delivery role: you’ll establish priorities, tackle barriers and keep projects moving, ensuring improvements are implemented, adopted and embedded within the six-month contract.
You’ll have substantial experience delivering complex HR or People and Culture projects, combining strong project management expertise with a sound understanding of HR practices and employment legislation.
You’ll know how to manage competing priorities, recover projects at risk and maintain momentum through ambiguity. Just as importantly, you’ll build positive relationships, influence confidently and challenge constructively.
We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, exercises sound judgement and stays focused on outcomes—not just activity.
This is an opportunity to apply your expertise to work with a clear social purpose. By strengthening the way we support our people, you’ll help the organisation provide affordable homes, build strong communities and support thousands of residents across North Kent.
Our PRIDE values-Pride, Respect, Inclusion, Driven and Empathy-guide how we work. We value diversity and want colleagues to bring their whole selves to work.
At mhs homes we value equality, diversity and inclusion. We are wholeheartedly committed to the principle of equality of opportunity, both as an employer and as a provider of services. We positively encourage applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status, or pregnancy and maternity.
