Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience assisting with routine awards or recognition tasks under supervision.
• Experience supporting HR data activities by collecting personnel information, running simple queries, and preparing spreadsheets or basic reports.
• Combination of education and experience may be used to qualify if the computed percentage is at least 100%.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to managers and employees on regulations, policies, and procedures for awards, staffing, and performance programs.
• Process honorary and monetary awards, ensuring submissions comply with regulatory requirements and command policies.
• Liaise with HR POC and stakeholders to resolve inquiries and ensure accurate processing of personnel actions.
• Coordinate with serviced organizations to ensure smooth processing of personnel into and out of the command.
• Evaluate workforce trends and staffing needs; conduct basic data visualization to support recruitment planning.
• Execute human capital strategies in response to higher headquarters taskers and organizational needs.
• Advise managers on recruitment strategies, hiring authorities, and staffing processes.
• Support recruitment events by preparing materials and attending career fairs, STEM events, and veteran outreach activities.
