Job summary

State of Oklahoma, Department of Corrections, seeks a Human Resources Programs Manager I to coordinate comprehensive HR functions for the DOC Human Resources team. This on-site role oversees position tracking, job requisitions, and applicant review to support staffing needs.

You will supervise HR staff, ensure policy implementation, and maintain accurate PIN records while liaising with central HR to ensure compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 2 years HR management experience or Bachelor's with 3 years.
• Experience supervising HR staff and coordinating PIN management is preferred.
• Extensive travel and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise HR staffing, transactions, time and leave activities.
• Oversee PIN tracking, position movement, and records reconciliation.
• Administer job requisitions and applicant qualification reviews.
• Ensure Personnel policies are applied and provide staff training.
• Liaise with central HR and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Track staffing metrics and provide status summaries.
