Job summary

California State University Long Beach is seeking a qualified Staff HR administrator to manage the Driver Authorization and Safe Driver Program, training, compliance, and related HR activities. The role supports background screening, exit surveys, and recognition programs.

The incumbent will assist with payroll procedures, data integrity in PeopleSoft, and cross-campus collaboration to ensure accurate processing and timely transactions.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of related experience required.
• Three years of related experience preferred.
• University experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Driver Authorization and Safe Driver Program, including training, DMV/EPN monitoring, compliance tracking, and communication with campus departments.
• Provide administrative and operational support for HRM, including website/guideline updates, purchasing and budget support, facilities coordination, and special projects.
• Back up for Fee Waiver and primary support for Staff Emeritus program, handling administration, records, communications, and reporting.
