Job summary

First Roles seeks an experienced HR leader for a role in the Office of the Chief Security Officer, Business Management Division. The ideal candidate will staff, ensure policy compliance, and develop teams while guiding HR service delivery and improving customer service.

You will assess productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency of program operations, working with FEMA stakeholders to analyze problems, write reports, and prepare training and communications.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and developing management procedures, systems and/or program evaluation plans and making recommendations to management for best utilization of human resources.
• Exercising independence and judgment to develop and maintain effective working relationships and information networks with the human resources process.
• Writing correspondence, reports, or other documents related to self-directed work assignments or developmental activities.
• Preparing and delivering oral presentations to a variety of audiences.
• Planning, preparing, executing, and assessing training to develop career paths for each security occupation.
