Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation seeks an HR Performance Management Specialist to advance a uniform performance management system, train staff, and monitor evaluation processes. The role supports engagement, retention, and compliance across the agency.

The position is hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote) and reports to the HR Division Director, requiring strong collaboration with management and staff.

Formación

• Four years of experience in human resources, performance management, or project management in state government.
• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university is required.
• Willingness to work extra hours if needed.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams is preferred.
• Experience with HR CAPPS system at a state agency is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Keeps management informed of performance management issues, root causes, and resolutions.
• Coordinates planning and implementation of an agency-wide uniform performance management system.
• Designs implementation training materials and provides ongoing staff support.
• Plans, implements, and maintains performance management processes and initiatives.
• Provides guidance on Employee Performance Evaluations and HR compliance.
• Delivers agency performance management training materials and resources.
• Reviews completed evaluations for accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
