Walsh Door + Security in Des Moines, IA is seeking an HR Coordinator to join our team. This full-time role supports benefits administration, onboarding, HRIS maintenance and employee relations in a fast-paced, manufacturing-adjacent environment.

You will manage enrollments, coordinate training, assist recruiting, and help plan employee engagement activities while maintaining confidentiality and delivering excellent internal service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in HR or related field preferred.
• Experience in HR, recruiting, or benefits administration preferred.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Administer employee benefit programs and enrollments.
• Coordinate pre-employment and onboarding processes.
• Maintain confidential employee records and HR documentation.
• Administer and maintain the HRIS; support onboarding, recruiting, and performance management.
• Coordinate training, orientation, and professional development.
• Support recruiting via scheduling and candidate communications.
• Assist with employee engagement activities and events.
• Provide HR policy information and assist with projects.
• Assist HR Manager and Recruiter with initiatives and reporting.
