Job summary

Amcor is seeking an HR leader to oversee all HR functions at a single facility with fewer than 200 employees in Des Moines, IA. You will provide strategic direction on talent, culture, and operational excellence, partnering with business leaders to align HR programs with business goals.

This role requires safety leadership, data integrity in Workday, employee relations, training delivery, workforce planning, and collaboration with the HR COE and Shared Services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or related field.
• 3-5 years of Human Resource experience; leadership experience; PHR desired.
• Experience in HR systems and data confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all HR functions of a facility, including safety leadership
• Provide strategic direction on talent, culture, and operational excellence
• Lead data integrity and Workday processes with business leaders
• Handle employee inquiries and issues; deliver annual trainings (e.g., anti-harassment)
• Support workforce planning, job description analysis, and succession planning
• Partner with HR COE and Shared Services to align HR programs with business needs
• Act as liaison between employees, union (if applicable), and management
• Lead HR projects and serve as team/project leader on company-wide initiatives
• Protect data confidentiality and foster change leadership
• Build and lead teams aligned with the Human Capital Strategy
