Job summary

Strada in the United States is seeking an HR & Payroll Specialist to independently manage end-to-end Dutch payroll, ensuring accuracy and timely processing within a multinational framework.

You should bring 2–3 years of payroll experience, strong MS Office skills, and excellent English and Dutch communication. The role offers remote work options, development opportunities, and a collaborative, inclusive environment at Strada.

Responsibilities

• Process Dutch payroll end-to-end according to defined standards and client requirements.
• Monitor ticket queues and ensure timely handling within SLAs.
• Identify deviations and support change requests.
• Handle sensitive/confidential information and provide knowledge transfers to peers.
• Produce standard and client-specific payroll reports including year-end needs.

Displays decision‑making skills that support company and payroll policies.

• Independently process Dutch payroll from end to end according the defined standards and client requirements including all associated payroll tasks
• Monitor and manage ticket queues using the appropriate tools to ensure tickets are handled per the defined timelines and do not exceed expected thresholds
• Identify deviations from the standard scope of service and act accordingly including the identification and support of change request opportunities
• Recognize and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information
• Produce and understand standard and client specific payroll reports including statutory year end reporting needs
• Review and validate data for accuracy and completeness and initiates corrections per the defined standards
• Answer Dutch payroll related questions and requests
• Provide clear knowledge transfers to peers
• Support and manage system maintenance testing
• Support technical issue coordination and resolution
• Maintains current knowledge of legislation requirements; system updates, changes and overall payroll procedures
• Participates in projects and activities as needed and assigned

• Around 2-3 years relevant experience administering Payroll in an HR consulting, HR Outsourcing or Corporate environment
• Very good English and Dutch skills (B2 minimum)
• Strong knowledge of the various inputs and outputs such as third party interfaces, timekeeping, tax filing/compliance, benefits and other key areas that integrate with payroll
• Strong knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to identify and mitigate risks
• Flexibility to support a global and fast paced environment

• Self‑motivated and a willingness to learn
• Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment, as well as independently while adhering to processes and procedures
