Job summary

Strada is hiring a UK Payroll Delivery Specialist to independently process UK payroll end-to-end and manage related tasks. You will monitor ticket queues, use BI tools, and apply HRIS systems for payroll processing while ensuring data accuracy and compliance with client requirements.

Ideal candidates have 2-3 years payroll experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced global environment.

Responsibilities

• Independently process UK payroll end-to-end per standards and client requirements
• Monitor and manage ticket queues using BI tools to meet defined timelines
• Utilize HRIS tools (HRX suite) as they relate to payroll processing
• Review and validate data for accuracy and client reporting needs
• Support SOC1 controls and maintain defined work instructions
• Provide clear knowledge transfer to peers and participate in RCA and system testing

UK Payroll Delivery Specialist

Key responsibilities:

• Independently process UK payroll from end to endaccordingthe defined standards and client requirementsincludingall associated payroll tasks
• Monitor and manage ticketqueuesusing theappropriate BItools toensuretickets are handledperthe defined timelines and do not exceed expected thresholds
• Ability toutilizethehrXsuite of tools asitrelates to payroll processing and all associated activities
• Be able to understand and interpret apayslip
• Be able to understand and follow the payroll calendar
• Identifydeviations from the standard scope of service and act accordinglyincluding the identification and support of change request opportunities
• Ability to recognize and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information
• Produce and understand standardand client specific payroll reportsincluding statutory year end reporting needs
• Review andvalidatedata for accuracyandcompletenessand initiates corrections per the defined standards
• Answerpayrollrelatedquestions and requests
• Support and execute SOC1 Controls
• Maintainandapplydefined work instructions (DWIs)
• Perform Transactions with Third parties
• Provide clear knowledge transfersto peers
• Support the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process
• Support and manage system maintenance testing
• Support technical issue coordination and resolution
• Maintains current knowledge of legislationrequirements;system updates,changesand overall payroll procedures
• Participates in projectsand activitiesas needed and assigned

Required Experience

• 2-3 years relevant experience administering Payroll or Health & Welfare/Benefits in an HR consulting, HR Outsourcing or Corporate environment.
• HRIS knowledge: Workday, SAP, or PeopleSoft knowledge preferred
• Strong knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Flexibility to support a global and fast paced environment
• Attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Self-motivated and a willingness to learn
• Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment, as well as independently while adhering to processes and procedures
