The Piedmont Environmental Council (PEC) is hiring a full-time HR & Payroll Specialist to operate from our Warrenton, VA headquarters. This role blends precise payroll processing with people-centric HR support, serving about 70 staff and ensuring compliance.

Key duties include biweekly payroll, benefits administration, onboarding, and employee relations. Strong organizational skills, data security, and in-person availability are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, accounting or related field.
• 3+ years in biweekly payroll and employee relations.
• Experience with Dominion Payroll or iSolved and multi-state payroll rules.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• In-office HR support and staff inquiries at Warrenton HQ.
• Onboarding/offboarding workflows and personnel files management.
• Foster positive workplace culture and resolve conflicts with discretion.
• Administer leave requests and ADA/FMLA accommodations.
• Biweekly payroll execution and payroll data accuracy.
• Deductions, benefits, and open enrollment administration.
• Recruitment support, compliance, and HRIS optimization.
