Job summary

The Krizner Group in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a skilled HR Generalist to join our fast-paced team and help deliver world-class human resources support to our operations. You will handle onboarding, payroll and benefits, maintain HRIS records, and ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS in HR or related field, 5+ years of broad HR experience, and at least 2 years in payroll/training, with on-site work required in Tallahassee.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communication, or related field
• 5+ years of broad based Human Resources experience
• 2 years Human Resources/ Payroll/Training experience
• Work on-site in Tallahassee, FL

Responsibilities

• Assistance with Onboarding, Payroll and Benefits administration
• Maintains compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws
• Maintains electronic personnel files ensuring all necessary forms and documents are completed and uploaded to the HRIS
• Responsible for compliance with I-9 completion and retention, E-Verify, reasonable accommodations, and posted notices
• Provides communication and assistance with the annual benefit open enrollment process and answers routine benefits questions
• Recruitment of new employees to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained.Including job postings, screenings, reviewing resumes, outreach, and preparing offers.
• Facilitates and/or participates in manager and supervisor training as needed
• Tracks and coordinates employee review schedules and ensures information is in the HRIS
• Creates, updates, and maintains job descriptions and other HR forms and documents as needed
• Assist with employee relations as needed
• Assist with AA and EEO plans as needed
• Represent organization at colleges, universities and job fairs as needed
• Performs other job duties as assigned by Supervisor
