The University of Nebraska–Lincoln is seeking an HR Coordinator for the Oldfather Business Cooperative to support payroll and HR processes across units. You will coordinate appointments, review payroll transactions, and guide departments on policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years HR/payroll experience with confidentiality.
• Associate or Bachelor degree with related field preferable.
• Strong MS Office skills and quick learner.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate employee appointments and employment actions to ensure accurate pay and compliance.
• Review and approve payroll and personnel transactions; resolve routine issues.
• Provide guidance to faculty, staff, and students on HR/payroll policies.
• Guide new hires through onboarding and payroll systems.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding; coordinate documentation.
• Support leave administration and benefits programs with central HR.
• Contribute to process improvements and standardization of HR/payroll practices.
• Maintain HR and payroll records and data.
