Wag’n Tails Mobile Conversions is seeking an HR Assistant to support payroll processing and HRIS data maintenance, align onboarding with managers, and help drive benefits administration and employee engagement. The role collaborates with a growing team in a values-driven environment.

You’ll handle recruitment coordination for hourly staff, maintain digital records, ensure confidentiality, and support day-to-day HR operations to help the company scale.

Qualifications

• Experience with payroll processing and HRIS data entry.
• Associates Degree or 2–3 years in staffing, payroll, or HR preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Assist in payroll processing and HRIS data maintenance.
• Support benefits administration and audits.
• Issue onboarding and coordinate with managers for new hires.
• Run background checks on new employees per policy.
• Maintain digital files and transition from paper to digital.
• Coordinate recruitment for hourly production team.
• Support employee engagement activities and events.
• Handle wage verification and notices.
• Complete termination processes per procedures.
• Provide responsive support to team members.
