Job summary

Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission (CRITFC) seeks an organized and experienced HR professional to be our next Human Resources Partner. This role provides full HR services including recruiting, onboarding, retention, compensation, benefits, and employee relations.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in a dedicated HR role (ideally as a Generalist).
• Experience with employment law in Indian Country is a plus.
• Strong tech skills with HRIS and ATS; ADP experience is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and inclusive people skills.
• Willingness to travel to Hood River and The Dalles for meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR services including recruiting and personnel actions in the HRIS.
• Own onboarding program for all CRITFC new hires.
• Manage benefits open enrollment each year.
• Get to know every CRITFC job and every employee.
• Learn tribal employment law and regulations that apply to tribal employment.
