Job summary

State of North Carolina's Office of State Human Resources is seeking an HR Technician II (S) for the Temporary Solutions division in Raleigh. The role handles HR actions and supports classifications and compensation tasks in the HR information system.

The position pays $25.00 per hour and runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm. Requires an Associate’s degree in HR or related field and 1 year of HR experience, or 2 years of related HR experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in HR or relevant field plus 1 year of HR experience, or 2 years of progressive HR experience.
• Experience with HR information systems and HR processes.
• Ability to process classification and compensation actions.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of classification and compensation actions in the HR information system.
• Create new positions, supervisory changes, and position transfers.
• Complete Baseline Salary Calculators.
• Update job descriptions in Workday.
• Prepare employee notification letters.
