Job summary

The Old Globe, San Diego's Tony Award-winning regional theatre, seeks an HR Associate to support onboarding, records, compliance, and HRIS/payroll functions in a full-time role on site.

Responsibilities include maintaining Paycom, coordinating payroll, benefits, LMS training, ATS workflows, and HR reporting. The role requires 2–4 years in HR-related work, strong MS Office skills, and a commitment to confidential, equitable staff experiences.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of progressive experience in Human Resources or related admin function.
• Experience with HR technologies and systems (Paycom preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong Word and Excel skills.
• Experience with digital form tools (Adobe Acrobat, FillOut, Airtable).
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and compliance documentation.
• Maintain and enhance HRIS/payroll processes using Paycom; run reports and audits.
• Support payroll coordination and benefits administration.
• Coordinate LMS training programs and track completion.
• Maintain ATS and recruitment workflow processes.
• Generate HR reports and provide insights for audits and grants.
