Job summary

The Old Globe, a Tony Award-winning regional theatre in San Diego, seeks an experienced Human Resources Associate for a full-time, benefited, on-site role reporting to the Director of Human Resources. You will support onboarding, offboarding, employee records, compliance, payroll coordination, and HRIS/ATS management to foster a compliant and positive employee experience.

In addition to general HR duties, you will automate processes, build digital forms, track data, and generate HR dashboards.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, HR operations, HR technology, or related administrative function.
• Experience with HRIS platforms, payroll systems, and HR technology (Paycom strongly preferred).
• Proficiency with Word and Excel; strong administrative capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and compliance documentation.
• Support payroll coordination and benefits administration using digital tools.
• Maintain and optimize HRIS and ATS; coordinate training programs and LMS use.
• Run HR reports and provide actionable insights; ensure regulatory compliance.
