Job summary

The Old Globe, a Tony Award-winning regional theatre in San Diego's Balboa Park, seeks an experienced Human Resources Associate for a full-time, benefited role. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will support onboarding, offboarding, records, and compliance while helping manage HR systems and processes.

You will assist in payroll coordination, benefits administration, ATS maintenance, and HR reporting.

Qualifications

2–4 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, HR operations, HR technology, or related administrative function.
Experience with HRIS platforms, payroll systems, and HR technology (Paycom preferred).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
Experience with digital form building tools (Adobe Acrobat, Fillout, Airtable).
Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

Assist in onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and compliance documentation.
Support HRIS/payroll coordination and benefits administration.
Coordinate training programs and track completion using LMS.
Maintain and optimize ATS; assist with recruitment workflows.
Generate HR reports and provide actionable insights for compliance and grants.
Draft and maintain HR documents, policies, and job descriptions.
