Job summary

Sompo is seeking an HR Operations Associate in Alpharetta, GA to deliver accurate HR support across the employee lifecycle. You will work with HR Business Partners, CoEs, and employees to ensure a seamless experience from onboarding to offboarding and execute key HR processes for North America.

Qualifications

• Experience in transactional HR or HR operations.
• Experience with an HRIS; Workday preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong customer service mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support HR transactional processes across the employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding.
• Coordinate pre-employment background checks and onboarding activities, including Workday data entry.
• Process employee and organizational updates in Workday (supervisory org, job role, position, compensation).
• Support employee offboarding and related system updates.
• Provide day-to-day operational support to HR CoEs and HR Business Partners.
• Respond to employee/HR requests accurately and timely.
• Support HR projects and process improvements as needed.
