Job summary

Riser Fitness in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking an HR Operations Coordinator to manage day-to-day employee lifecycle transactions, from onboarding to offboarding. This hands-on role requires entering records in Rippling, collecting paperwork, and coordinating with Payroll and Talent Acquisition to keep transactions moving on time.

You'll triage the HR inbox, maintain accurate files, administer LOAs, and ensure compliance across I-9 and tax forms.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in HR or HR administration
• Experience with Rippling or a comparable HRIS
• Strong data entry and ability to meet deadlines
• Clear written and verbal communication with employees
• Ability to handle confidential information discreetly

Responsibilities

• Process onboarding paperwork and system setup from offer to Day 1
• Update new hire and employee records in Rippling
• Collect and verify I-9s, tax forms, and eligibility documentation
• Send and track new hire communications and paperwork completion
• Handle LOA administration and paperwork, notifications, and tracking
• Process changes to payroll, title, location, and job details in Rippling
• Manage offboarding paperwork and deactivations, and coordinate final pay
