Neural Concept in the United States is seeking an HR Operations Specialist to support onboarding, employee lifecycle, and off-boarding within a fast-growing tech scale-up.

You will also back the Talent Acquisition team in Switzerland with screening and candidate management, bringing deep experience in US HR operations, benefits, and 401(k) administration.

This role requires collaboration across payroll, PEOs, and local compliance, and offers a hybrid work model and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR operations experience in the US.
• Practical knowledge of US benefits and 401(k) programs.
• Experience supporting Talent Acquisition across borders.
• Startup/scale-up experience preferred.
• Familiarity with HR policies and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage core HR processes across the employee lifecycle including onboarding and off-boarding.
• Support U.S. benefits administration across medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k).
• Coordinate with PEOs, payroll, and benefits providers.
• Maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with federal and local requirements.
• Support Swiss TA team with screening and candidate management.
• Maintain accurate data, track hiring metrics, and report on pipeline progress.

The Role

Neural Concept is looking for a versatile HR Operations Specialist to support our growing tech scale-up in the United States. This is a role focused in HR Operations - from onboarding to off-boarding, employee lifecycle and support.

You will also support the Talent Acquisition Team - based in Switzerland - with some screening and candidate management. We are therefore looking for someone with deep practical knowledge of the U.S. HR operations, benefits, and 401(k) administration.

Key responsibilities

• Manage core HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, off-boarding;
• Support U.S. benefits administration, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k) programs;
• Coordinate with PEO entities, payroll and benefits providers;
• Help maintain HR policies and support compliance with applicable federal and and local employment requirements;
• Support local Hiring Managers and the Talent Acquisition Team in Switzerland screening candidate applications and managing the recruitment process;
• Maintain accurate employee and recruiting data, track pipeline progress, and report on key hiring metrics.

What we are looking for

• 3+ years of HR operations in the US is mandatory;
• Practical knowledge of the U.S. HR policies, benefits administration, 401(k) programs;
• Knowledge of the U.S. technology talent market, including relevant talent pools and sourcing channels is a plus;
• Experience in a startup or scale-up environment is highly valued.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving, international environment.
• Familiarity with an ATS. Experience with Ashby is a plus;
• Strong organisational skills, curiosity, resilience, and close attention to detail.
