Job summary

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol seeks an Human Resources Technician to support Organizational Management, personnel administration actions, and HR operations at the Raleigh office.

You will manage employee records, onboarding, promotions, transfers, and separations, and ensure data accuracy in SAP HR. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with criminal background check and drug screening as part of the process.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in HR or related field (or equivalent).
• 1 year of experience required; or 2 years of progressive HR experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee records and organizational structure; oversee onboarding, promotions, transfers, and separations.
• Ensure personnel data is entered accurately and on time, compliant with policies.
• Maintain organizational hierarchy in SAP HR and reflect changes in records.
• Monitor OM-PA module integration for changes to reflect in personnel records.
• Support audit preparations; compile compensation and time records; coordinate with supervisors.
