Job summary

Georgia State University is seeking a Division HR Coordinator in the Division of Student Success on the Atlanta Campus. The role supports the HR Officer with payroll, records, training, classification projects, performance management, and staff recruitment.

The position emphasizes collaboration with department managers to promote operational consistency, compliance, and efficiency across the division, with a focus on student and staff services and engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with two years of related experience or combination of education and related experience.
• Experience onboarding and training employees.
• Experience working in a higher education environment.
• Experience posting and managing positions in higher education.
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with updating policy and procedures for units and onboarding processes.
• Coordinate graduate assistant processes and MSS transactions; communicate policies to students and managers.
• Initiate MSS transactions for all employment actions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage personnel documents; support evaluations and performance improvement plans.
• Support staff recruitment and selection; coordinate with hiring managers and interview panels.
