Job summary

UL Solutions in Fremont, CA seeks an HR Operations Specialist to support the employee lifecycle with a strong onboarding focus and service-oriented HR delivery. You will manage preboarding, onboarding, I-9 compliance, offboarding, and work authorizations, guiding employees and people leaders to ensure a positive experience.

The role requires 2–4 years in HR administration or related experience, a university HR-related degree or equivalent, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Onboarding-focused HR support including preboarding and onboarding activities.
• I-9 compliance, offboarding, and work authorization management.
• Guidance to employees and managers on HR processes and programs.
• Experience with HR data, policies, and systems to support accuracy.
• Ability to deliver training on HR processes and programs.

Responsibilities

• HR Transactions and Data Management across the employee lifecycle, ensuring accuracy.
• Respond to inquiries and manage Tier 2 ServiceNow tickets within SLAs.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, leaves, and global transfers per standards.
• Assist payroll processes with monthly changes and new hire docs.
• Support benefits administration including enrollments and renewals.
• Gather and validate employee data for audits and surveys.
• Develop SOPs and documentation; participate in system testing.
• Track metrics and support HR projects and transitions.
