STJ St. Joseph's Hospital in Buckhannon, WV is seeking an HR Support Coordinator to manage unemployment claims, orientation programs, and HR processes across the organization.

You will assist with scheduling, attendance tracking in Workday, compliance tasks, and employee inquiries while maintaining confidentiality and coordinating with leadership. The role emphasizes supporting New Leader and New Employee orientations, handling HR data documentation, and assisting with performance management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field.
• OR Associate’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field and two (2) years of HR support experience.
• OR High School diploma and five (5) years of HR support experience.

Responsabilités

• Support unemployment claims processing and tracking.
• Handle general inquiries for Employee Relations & HR Business Partner team.
• Schedule org-wide trainings and track attendance in Workday.
• Organize New Leader Orientation: rooms, invites, lunch, materials, attendance.
• Maintain and update orientation materials for new employee and leader orientations.
• Facilitate trainings as needed.
• Coordinate regulatory compliance tasks (WV Cares, PA fingerprinting).
• Monitor changes in labor laws to ensure HR practices stay compliant.
• Assist with system initiatives and special HR projects.
• Conduct investigatory interviews when needed; answer HR policy questions.
