Job summary

Raymond Storage Concepts is seeking an experienced HR Operations Specialist to join our People Operations team. You will keep HR processes running smoothly, maintain employee records, support payroll, and serve as a go-to HR resource for employees and leaders across multiple HR areas.

This role offers variety, ownership, and opportunities to improve processes, with a focus on accurate data, compliance, and strengthening the employee experience within our Ohio and surrounding regions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in HR/HR Operations, payroll support, employee relations, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with HRIS systems, employee transactions, and record management.
• Experience supporting payroll preparation, timekeeping, pay changes, or payroll reporting.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping employees and leaders.
• Discretion, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Keep HR Operations running smoothly by maintaining accurate employee records and processing HR transactions in our HRIS.
• Support payroll and timekeeping, review payroll information, and resolve discrepancies.
• Act as a trusted HR resource for employees and leaders on everyday HR questions.
• Help plan employee engagement activities, benefits enrollment timelines, and company events.
• Own reporting, compliance, and process improvements, including unemployment claims and leaves.
