Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field required.
• 5+ years in HR Operations/HR Generalist roles.
• Experience administering and optimizing HRIS; Rippling preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and multi-state compliance.
• Experience managing benefits programs with external brokers.
• Experience advising on employee relations matters.
• Strong organization, detail orientation, and multitasking ability.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.
• SHRM/HRCI certification preferred.
• Experience in high-growth startups or scaling environments.
• Exposure to robotics, hardware, manufacturing, or engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR contact for questions and HR matters across the organization.
• Own and maintain the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and organized personnel records.
• Lead benefits administration, including education, vendor coordination, and open enrollment.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations, including multi-state requirements.
• Advise managers on employee relations matters, performance, and disciplinary issues.
• Manage the employee offboarding process and documentation.
• Coordinate immigration-related support between employees and external legal partners.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure smooth onboarding from recruiting to onboarding.
• Develop and improve HR programs, policies, and processes to support growth.
• Manage relationships with external HR vendors and consultants.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to HR support staff as the team expands.
